By using LookMyIP (lookmyip.com, "the site"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. Free, as-is service

LookMyIP is a free, ad-free set of IP address and network diagnostic tools. All tools and content are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We make no guarantee of accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or uninterrupted availability.

2. Acceptable use

You may use LookMyIP for any lawful personal, educational, or professional purpose. You agree not to:

• Use the site to harass, target, dox, or unlawfully surveil any person.
• Scrape, rate-abuse, or automate requests at a volume that degrades service for others.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, disrupt, or breach the security of the site or its upstream providers.
• Use the site's output to violate the laws, regulations, or terms of any jurisdiction or third-party service.

We may rate-limit, block, or permanently deny access to any IP address, network, or user we reasonably believe is violating these terms.

3. Accuracy of data

IP geolocation, reputation, WHOIS, DNS, and blacklist data come from third-party providers and public sources. These datasets can be out of date, incomplete, or wrong. You are responsible for independently verifying any result before acting on it — especially in security, legal, or commercial contexts.

4. Third-party services

LookMyIP integrates third-party services (see Privacy Policy). Your use of those services through LookMyIP is also subject to their terms. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or conduct of third-party services.

5. Intellectual property

The site design, code, blog posts, and knowledge-base articles are © LookMyIP. You may quote short excerpts with attribution and a link back. Wholesale republication requires permission.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LookMyIP and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of the site, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or business interruption — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

7. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated terms.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the site operator is based. Disputes should first be raised via the Contact page.
